Hello!
It took an extremely long time for me to take the dive but I finally published this website. I would like to thank those of you who have visited this site so far and have told me that it looks great. And a special thanks to those close friends who have mentioned how glad that I finally have this site up and running. It means the world to me to have so much positive feedback about this so far. I've been hesitant about creating my own photography website for personal reasons but it now feels like the right time in my life for me to finally take that risk.
My goal for this blog is to post new photographs more consistently than I do with my social media accounts. Granted, there's a good possibility that I won't post here on a daily basis but I feel ready to pick up my cameras and get out there and keep working on my photography more consistently than ever before. There's also a strong chance that this blog will also feature photographs that I've never shared. I am not kidding when I say that I have a backlog of files that I still haven't tinkered with that are either on my camera's memory cards or hard drive.
The first group of photographs I will present were taking this morning around the area where I live in Moorhead, Minnesota. For nearly a month, I've been waking up earlier than I normally do and have taken up running for the first time in years. Let's just say that I'm now taking a bit of a break from running for at least a few days. Or at least until my knees feel a bit better. People were not kidding about how hard it is running the older you become in life. But enough about my attempt to get healthier. There was quite a bit of fog lingering around town this morning. What better way to begin the day than walking around the neighborhood and photographing the fog while the sun is trying to break through.
Thanks for viewing this blog and my photographs. - John Beaudine
